On this page you will find studies by Art Intelligence GmbH that were not commissioned by a client, but were created out of scientific interest.

The study appeared in the scientific publication "Kunstgeschichte Open Peer Reviewed Journal".
It uses 15 decisions of the Rembrandt Research Project as examples to show how and with which methods Artificial Intelligence can support art historians in their work. It also evaluates the accuracy of human experts in attributing paintings from Rembrandt's - without, however, further fuelling the nonsensical competition between human and artificial intelligence.
