In addition to checking the authenticity of a work of art, Art Intelligence GmbH offers further analyzes using artificial intelligence, such as the assignment of a picture to a suspected painter or the identification of a person portrayed in a painting.

Exceptional service
Can computers recognize a painter's style better than humans? The question is difficult to answer. Regardless, computers can detect features in works of art that remain hidden from the human eye. We are, for example, unable to perceive infrared light.
THE DATA
Currently, the data set consists of more than 20,000 pictures by a total of 60 painters, but it is constantly being expanded. Originals as well as forgeries and imitations by other artists can be researched at any time.
THE ANALYSIS
The authenticity analysis is carried out with neural networks. First, it is checked whether the model recognizes the suspected painter as the author. In a second step, it is analyzed to what extent the model recognizes originals as well as forgeries and imitations by the artist in question.
THE RESULT
Art Intelligence GmbH attaches great importance to transparency in its methodology. The procedure and results of an analysis are summarized in a 12-to-15-page report. In addition to this come the 15 to 20 pages of appendices.
